ABSOLUTE GREY - tape 84 w A Journey Thru The Past LP 88 w Sand Down The Moon LP 87

SEARCH ABOVE FOR MORE and ADD ON:  Well after the umpteenth repost of their earlier albums I got a comment that I was missing a few so it got me to go to Discogs and seek out these.

as always - thanks for posting this stuff. the demo tape songs were included on the "Broken Promise" compilation cd but the liner notes mentioned that they were remixed in '94, which always made me a tad suspicious about the LOUD guitars, so it's interesting to hear the tape you converted and find that the guitars are just as loud there. also, your Sand Down the Moon sounds great - tons better than the version I made. I have the first To Damascus LP (Succumb) and was thinking about ripping and posting it, but am wondering if I might be better served by just letting you have it and then downloading your rip. If that sounds good, let me know - as I only buy vinyl when it's something that is otherwise unavailable on cd or mp3.

Hi teadoust,

Thanks for your valuable feedback! Yeah that tape I could have turned down the recording as I usually do for live tapes recorded off a monitor to get rid of all the static but didn't and left it at standard setting but will always be some remaining for live mic'd stuff. Yeah, a pro DJ and I agreed the Audacity is bare bones and doesn't really capture the sound that well. Yeah, I have ripped for others in the past and would welcome your submission of vinyl and I guess i would keep it? We are the same and prefer the finished music mainly. Drop me an email at pjmont@goowy.com and I can send address.
